New Halsey Trails Club Established
A new Halsey Trails Club (HTC) has been formed! By a vote of members at the Nebraska Off Highway Vehicle Assocation (NOHVA), the new club is a chapter of NOHVA. The former Headworks/Halsey Chapter of NOHVA has been split into two seperate groups. This new chapter replaces the Halsey Trails Committee, which has been idle for several years.
Currently, all the members of the Halsey Trails Club are also NOHVA members.
The new chapter will have it's own INDEPENDENT set of officers offering local rider management and can have it's own treasury. NOHVA members who designate their ONE chapter affiliation on their membership for will see 50% of their membership fee refunded back to the HTC chapter. The new HTC chapter will follow the by-laws of the NOHVA.
The New Halsey Trails Club will hold an organizational meeting following the Nebraska National Forest (Halsey) Route Designation Workshop on Sunday meeting at 4 PM, at the same location at the Grand Island Interstate Holiday Inn. Chapter officers will be elected and plans will be made for future activities by the new chapter at Halsey.
