It's EASY to become involved in the HTC! 

• Volunteer work - Attend one of our work days and lend a hand! 
• Trail User Education - This is by far the most enjoyable job of them all!  Simply travel the trails and camp grounds at Halsey and talk to riders.  Tell them about responsible trail use and encourage them to sign up for the free HTC mailings.  We will provide responsible trail user informative handouts as well. 
• Tell Your Friends about HTC
• Tell Businesses about HTC - Encourage them to spread the word about responsible trail use at Bessey and encourage them to tell their customers about HTC. 
• Help the Forest Service - They have a really tough job to do, keep track of all the things it takes to properly manage the land they are entrusted with, and serve the public!  Let's help them out by informing them of what's going on at Bessey, and volunteering to help with trails. 
• Encourage other users at Bessey to be RESPONSIBLE - PLEASE report to the Forest Service trouble makers (including ATV/dirtbike riders, horse riders and others) in camp grounds and on trails complete with descriptions of the trouble makers and their license plate numbers and vehicle descriptions or ASK these people to act in an acceptable manner.
